“couldn’t put it down!”: take a break book clubbers review greenwich park
The results are in - and I’m delighted to say that Greenwich Park was a huge hit with Take A Break Book Club readers!
I was absolutely over the moon that Greenwich Park was chosen as the Magazine’s book club read for April and even more pleased with the response from the four featured reviewers!
Lisa from Gainsborough, Lincs said:
“I read the whole thing in just two sittings because it was impossible to put down… I loved trying to work out what was coming next. The twisting tale comes to an amazing climax. Greenwich Park is my favourite book of the year so far!”
Melanie, of Mirfield, West Yorks, said:
“I simply couldn’t put it down! I’m really looking forward to the author’s next book.”
I loved that Holly, 38, of Warrington, identified with Helen. She wrote:
“I remember that aimlessness as one part of your life is ending, while you’re waiting for the next to begin”
The strangeness of that time was something that was so important to me to get right so I’m delighted. Holly added:
“I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys intense, psychological thrillers.”
My favourite verdict of all was from Sandra from Ormskirk. She wrote:
“I read Greenwich Park in just a day and a half. It’s a brilliant tale of greed, envy, plots revenge and innocence. It twists and turns and you’ll never see the ending coming.
“Sit down with this book and a coffee, and I guarantee the coffee will go cold!”
Thanks so much to Lisa, Holly, Sandra and Melanie and I’m so glad you all enjoyed it!
